The North Palm Beach Country Club Golf Course is truly is one of the most magnificent public golf courses in the world. In 2006 local resident Jack Nicklaus re-designed the course. The course offers 18 holes, par 71 at 7,071 yards long from the rear tees. There are 5 different tee locations allowing all levels of golfers to enjoy their experience. The course has been ranked as one of the Top 10 courses you can play, and ranked number 27 in the Top Municipal Courses in America by Golf week magazine; it is also featured as one of the places you have to play in south Florida by AAA magazine.

North Palm Beach Real Estate History

The Village of North Palm Beach was founded in 1956 and development was almost simultaneous to its beginning. Many canals were dug out creating a vast area of land for residential waterfront homes, which was ideal for boaters. Much of the early growth of North Palm Beach was attributed to the opening of the Pratt Whitney 11 square mile plant located to the west. This plant was dedicated to the development of jet engines, and later the space race and space shuttle projects. The close proximity of North Palm Beach was a key factor in its growth and development.

The North Palm Beach Country Club was an 18 hole golf course originally built in 1926, known then as the Palm Beach Winter Club. The original clubhouse remained until 1980. The club and golf course was purchased by the Village of North Palm Beach in 1962, and a new club was built and opened in 1963.
