Juno Beach Florida was platted in 1948 and has a total area of 1.9 square miles. Juno was named after the Roma goddess Juno and is home to over 3,200 people.
Juno Beach is home to the Loggerhead Marine life Center established in 1983 the center is the only sea turtle hospital located between The Florida Keys and Orlando. It is a non-profit education and ocean conservation facility.
The center features a full service veterinary hospital, exhibit hall, outdoor classroom, research lab, and resource center. The center hosts thousands of school children each year through field trips, outreach programs, summer camps and other educational experiences.
Golfers in Juno Beach can enjoy playing one of the oldest courses in South Florida at the Seminole Golf Club. Dating back to 1920, this Donald Ross-designed course frequently rates among the top ten in the country. 18 holes extend 6,787 yards through a combination of ocean windswept sand dunes, in an enormous sand ridge, and a valley dotted with small lakes. This is a challenging course where your strategy will change with the wind conditions as you attempt to avoid some 182 sand bunkers and other terrain hazards.
